One day in Brussels

Trip to the heart of Europe. Fish & chips, Atomium, good beers, Manneken Pis and gorgeous architecture. Is it worth to check out Brussels?

Our favorite TV Shows

I was a Game of Thrones fan, but at some point I became tired with the series. Not because of the story, but during the never ending waiting for the new seasons I lost my excitement. Just think about it: in every season there are 10 episodes, which means 10 weeks, and then you have to wait other 42 to move on with the story. And the next season is still not the last one. Not a great deal. This is why I’m not interested in the Westworld. I don’t want to spend another 5-6-7 years with waiting for a mystery to be solved, and thinking about crazy theories. Fortunately, there are a lot of other options, such as miniseries, antology series or old series and I would like to list some of my favourites.

One day in Verona

I don't remember the exact date when I fell in love with Italy forever. Maybe when I was 11 and first saw the silly romantic comedy "Only you" with Robert Downey Jr., and it was not only because of him that I chose this for my favourite film (for at least one entire month haha), but because of the fabulous background provided by Italy. Soon I forgot about the film, but not about the country, the more I know it, the more I love it.

Perception about destinations

Popular Culture And Social Media Have Been Reproducing Our Imagination About Places From Time To Time. Nowadays, especially filmmakers have the power to give additional meanings to certain destinations, making them more attractive even if this is not their primary aim. This can be regarded as marketing activity which is beneficial for the tourism, but sometimes the result is questionable. Sometimes stereotypes are enhanced, unfortunately for the locals, sometimes the new meanings fade the old characteristics of the place and create something more interesting than it used to be.
